Peace of Mind through On-Site Health
Care Services

The Via Health Care Center at The Hermitage is a place where senior residents participate in the full life of our retirement community. Social, physical, spiritual, and recreational programs help enhance our residents' well-being and positive attitudes.

All residents of The Hermitage, including Health Care Center residents, have access to the services of our Medical Director, supported by a full-time staff of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and a dietitian. You'll also find chaplains, social services and physical, occupational, recreational, and speech therapists to help you maintain your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Thoughtful Services Enhance Dignity and Enjoyment
In every way, the staff at The Hermitage strives to honor and enhance the life experiences of our senior residents. Health Center residents benefit from the dedicated services of a recreation therapist and staff, as well as access to all programs and activities at The Hermitage.

When professional care is needed, Health Care residents of The Hermitage have complete access to nursing professionals including RNs, as well as designated Health Care recreational services, rehabilitation services, and social work services. Residents also have access to the Medical Director, who is on site on a weekly basis.

Of course, all residents enjoy delicious meals, housekeeping, laundry and transportation services, rehabilitation therapies (occupational, physical and speech), and access to the Medical Director. They also have access to our beauty shop and barber, with on-site manicure/pedicure.

In addition, Health Care at The Hermitage includes a full and varied schedule of programs to allow our residents to remain engaged and socially active. Concerts, entertainment, worship services, current events, cards and board games, volunteer opportunities...all help residents maintain a healthy quality of life.

Intergenerational activities, monthly entertainment shows, and seasonal activities, along with chapel, worship services, and bible studies are welcomed activities available to all.

Residents also enjoy three delicious, nutritious meals a day, plus snacks. Each floor has its own dining room, as well as assistance with dining when additional help is needed. And of course, specialized diets are individualized to meet residents' special needs.

Our newly-remodeled spa room provides a relaxing, luxurious place for residents to bathe and receive personal attention in an atmosphere of privacy and respect.

What does Health Care living look like?
Health Care residents live in their own bright, spacious rooms at the Hermitage, furnished with their own cherished possessions if they like. • Handrails in bathrooms and hallways
  • Emergency call system
  • Sprinklers and smoke detectors
  • Additional storage
